When the world ends,
memories would float about like
Last winter when I had decided to visit Red Fort, I was deterred by this intimidating queue. I had hung around for a while, determined to brave the long stretch of tedium, but left happily with this picture when my friend suggested to invest our time on a bellyful of Biryani.
These photos are a little more than three years old. I had clicked these, among others, at the Alipore Zoo, Kolkata, and had mostly neglected this lot; back then I had preferred to focus more on animals than their enclosed habitat and their gleeful visitors. This here is a little interaction between the beings on either side of the fence – the squirrels, they managed to sneak in on their own.
It is a little too early to expect summer and for some (including me) too cruel to even mention it, with a little more of winter still to be enjoyed. But there’s no harm in reminiscing the best bits of the season I do not really look forward to. Here is one of my favourite photos I took last summer in Delhi.
